Mudziwathu Community Radio Station was established in 2006 with funding from the American Institute for Research and Radio Systems Inc. It is licensed by the Malawi Regulatory Authority to serve communities in Mchinji District and surrounding areas, broadcasting on a frequency of 107.6 FM.
