110 youth in Mchinji have completed a six weeks intensive Digital Business Training course implemented by MHUB in partnership with MasterCard Foundation with funding from Digital Opportunity Trust.
The training aimed at equipping youth in digital literacy, entrepreneurial skills and business management to become financially independent connecting their business using digital methods in order to market their activities to reach a wider audience.
Peterson Dunya, the head of programs at M-Hub, said the aim of the training is to reach out to young people who are committed to change their lives through business by providing them with expertise on modern ways to market their businesses and also connecting them with other stakeholders.
Blessings Matayaka, one of the students, said the skills she gained from the MHub training course will open new possibilities and creating more customers in her yet to be established business.
MHub has so far has reached youth in Lilongwe, Ntcheu, Dedza and Salima districts with the same trainings under Going Beyond project with financial support from Digital Opportunity Trust.
